I recently found this really cool product reviewed on a blog site, and thought I'd share it with all you other natural mommies out there. The product is from a company called Lilitah, who take regular things and add these harmony symbols that they say change the way children act, feel, and react. I purchased a baby blanket after seeing the review online, but was a little skeptical. I bought it because my son hasn't ever been a great sleeper, and I'd literally do anything at this point to get him sleeping all night!

Lilitah claims that the symbols on the blankets calm children down, make them feel safe and secure, and thus make them sleep through the night (and act better during the day). Well, let me tell you, we've been using this for two weeks now and it is an amazing transformation! My son was attached to the blankie from the day it arrived (and he's not typically a blankie kiddo), and began sleeping soundly about four nights into using the Lilitah blanket. I don't know how they do it, but it works! I also noticed he is more focus on activities during the day, and generally just more peaceful and happy it seems.

They say being around the symbols is the same as doing positive affirmations, or talking nicely to a plant to make it grow, or how when you are around someone angry you become more tense and angry but if you're around someone happy you become happy. Apparently kids pick up on other peoples' 'energy' very quickly, so they're constantly internalizing a lot of stress and negativity from adults -- these symbols are just another type of more positive energy that the kids pick up on.

At any rate, it's a pretty neat idea and my son just loves it! Check it out at www.lilitah.com if you're interested, there’s a lot of info. there on how this stuff actually works!

This blanket brought peace to my house too. My son was in pretty severe horse back riding accident. He was only 6 when it happened and to make a long story short when he came home from the hospital, the bad dreams started, he didn't want to sleep alone, he was afraid of our family dog -We were trying everything to rebuild his confidence and make him feel safe again.
My girlfirend found this blanket at some art fair in Salida Co - Micheal scooped that thing up like it was a nintendo or something. I can't believe how much it helped! He started to relax and be happy again. Seriously! There's miracles in these blankets. -Thanks
