I have a BIG problem! I had a Baby boy 4 months ago and I gained 40 pounds when I was pregnant. I was a size 4 and 135 pounds before I got pregnant. Because I am 5'10 1/2, my Doctor advised me to gain that much to have a healthy Baby. I've lost all of it but 13 pounds! The only problem is that every bit of it is in my Hips and thighs. I have always had muscular legs, because I am a Ballet Dancer. However, They have NEVER been like this! I do yoga , Pilates, and free weights 4-5 tmes a week, I have been going to Ballet classes twice a week and I try to walk as much as I can but I have seen no improvement. Any suggestions? I REALLY want to get this off of my hips. I want to wear my regular clothes again.

The best way to burn off any unwanted fat is cardio. Keep the heat rate up as much as possible. I don't like running for long periods of time so I like to sprint then jog at intervals. Good luck!

I've found Pilates works best at keeping things long and lean. After every workout, you stretch the muscle you had been using. Love it!

I like TaeBo (sp?) with Billy Blanks, only I mute him and turn up my radio after I kind of know the moves. There are alot of leg kicks. I have to take it slow at first. It is very fun too.
