View Full Version : Boob question

Over the course of my pregnancy, my breasts went up two cup sizes and two band sizes. I'm not breastfeeding. Anyone know how long it will take for them to get close to their original size? They weren't small to begin with, and I'm hating how huge they are now. If they sag, I can live with that - I'd just like to not have two basketballs hanging off my front.

I believe you can ask your doctor for a pill that dries up the milk. That's what I've heard anyway. If that's not the case... hope you get help from a more experienced mom! Lol. :D

Since you're not breastfeeding you shouldn't have too much of an issue with growth. I've finished breastfeeding and my breasts are still 2 cup sizes bigger. Remember they've stretched during your pregnancy. So if they're 2 cup sizes bigger now and you haven't delivered they will probably remain about a cup size larger in the end. That seems to be the average among my mommy friends. The band size will usually go down as you get the weight off from having baby. Mine did.
Hope that helps!

I was a 34 small C when I got pregnant.
I did not breastfeed.
My son was born 9 months ago, I'm JUST being able to cram myself into a 36D. I've been a DD up to right now.
And I lost all but 15lbs so far.
I've seen women who stay huge after babies, I've seen women who go back to what they were pre-pregnancy, and I've seen women end up SMALLER after babies than before. Every woman is different.
But when you lose weight, the boobs are typically the first thing to shrink.

Yep- when losing baby weight, the boobs are the first to go!

Mine are a cup size bigger after baby, I am a 34 C now(they are big to me- i hate them!). I went up to a 36 D while I was pregnant, and after I had my daughter it was a tight fit cuz of the milk, but i didnt breastfeed so they went down after about a month. but my boobs are the only part of my body I have stretch marks on. They are not as firm as they used to be, and i noticed that my nipples got a lot bigger as well. I don't think they are going to get any smaller, even though I wish they would, and I lost a lot of weight already.
