Okay so its been 2 months since I had my baby (a Healthy 10lb baby boy:-) and I still havent got my period. I dont know how long its supposed to be before I get it. I mean I bled for about 5 weeks after I had the baby. And I have had s*x, we do wear protection but he has like put it in me without one a couple of times but we never actually got into without protection. But I'm scared that I could be pregnant again. HELP!!!!

Are you breastfeeding? That can keep you from getting your period. If not, it's only been two weeks - it takes a lot longer than that for your body to get back to normal. Plus, you just bled for five weeks. Your body hasn't had time to build up its stores yet. If you're really concerned, call your MD and ask. But I doubt you're pregnant again.

If you're really concerned, I would take a test or see your dr., but I didn't get my period until my son was about 5 months old.

I had my son in April '08. I bled for 6 weeks, which brought me to June, and I didn't have a real period until July. It's normal when your body is recovering from pregnancy.

I bled for like 10 weeks and then didn't have a period for like 2 months. I wouldn't be too worried but still be on the look out for more signs.

For every woman it is different and breast feeding can delay that process even longer. However I do know with our first child I was preggers again by the time he was 3 months old eek. hehe
But if your that concerned get a test, but chances are its just your body trying to recover. I mean c'mon its only been 2 months since your baby was born.

It took me 5months to get on track. With a little help from my doctor. Of course my friends baby is going to be a year still no period. She ended up having a uterine infection she didn't know about. I would talk to the doctor.

I breastfed, and didn't get a period for months. My two older ones were 10 - 11 months old, and with my 3rd I didn't get one until he was 14 months! Not sure if you're breastfeeding, but even if you're not it can take several months for your bod to get back on track.

I think that it can take a long time for your cycle to get back to normal. Especially if you are BF.
