..I had a period on February 5th, then started spotting on February 31st, alittle heavier on March 1st, then stopped, spotted on March 5th, then started again on march 29, then on april 28.. is that a problem, we have been trying to get pregnant since February, and since then my period has been all messed up.

what BC method were you using? Sometimes with the hormonal birth control methods, it takes a month or two for your cycle to return to what is "normal" for you. This is especially the case if you have been on it for an extended period of time. Think about it like getting drunk. The more you drink, the longer it takes for the alcohol to leave your system. However, I am not a doctor so if you are still uneasy, go see your OB/GYN and I am sure that he/she can put your fears to rest.

hmm, the only other thing I can think of is that sometimes TTC can be stressful. Stress can really mess with your body in many ways. When my husband and I first started TTC our second child, my cycles were all over the place. They ranged from 30-47 days! If stress isn't a possible cause, I would just suggest going to see your doctor.

I've been off birth control since January, and the last two periods I've had were really heavy, and then spotted or started up again for two straight weeks. It may just be driving me crazy. I'm hoping it will regulate itself soon.
So I don't really understand- WERE you on birth control previous to February? That's probably the reason.

I have not been on birthcontrol since early 2006..my period has always been regular, and only last 2 to 3 days.it still only last that long,but starting sooner than expected, and then some spotting in between. When we tried to get pregnant with our triplets, it was still normal.Thats why i posted this,not sure if it could be the ttc that has it all messed up,or if it could be something else!!

Oh, ok! I don't know, but I'm really frustrated with my irregularity too! Argh!
