Okay, so I know the reasonable thing to do is discuss my concerns with my doctor, and I plan to at my next visit, but I was wondering if anyone else is going through what I am. I am 8 weeks pregnant with my third child. I had my second child just 13 months ago. Anyway, late in my second pregnancy I experienced "normal discomforts" such as aching feet after activity, mild swelling in the feet and ankles after being on my feet for work for a few hours, sensation of expanding pelvis, shortness of breath during activity and eating (not severe, but noticeable) Obviously when you have a big ol belly these are pretty normal, but I am only 8 weeks now and experiencing these symptoms already. I have gained 40 lbs. total in 4 years since my first child was born, but I am still only 180 lbs. I am overweight, but not severely obese. Are these signs normal, has anyone else gone through this?

i am pregnant with baby #2 i will be 19 weeks tomorrow, i am small 5'8 and 120lbs, i never had anything like that with my first son but this one i cant stand for a long time with out taking a break! i cant even do the dishes with out taking at least one break! and i cant take a walk around the block without feeling like i just ran a marathon! my feet will swell a little if im on them for a while.
i just had an appt with my Dr yesterday and asked him, he said i was fine, but if it gets worse i need to call him! so i would say yeah its prolly normal but still ask your Dr just in case!

This is my 3rd pregnancy and I feel short of breath when doing simple things. I've gained the normal amt of weight and am small. I guess it would be normal but we have to remember there are other things that we have to do at home with our family and for our family than ever before. Our bodies are working triple time. Hang in there and just stop what you're doing (if you can) when you feel tired and need a break.
