I am due October 30 and my biggest worry is that my baby will be born on halloween and I will end up with some sort of demon child. I know that sounds silly but I have actually had nightmares about it! I am so sick that I have lost ten pounds and cannot stand up or even look at food without having to run to the nearest trash can or toilet but I just saw my doctor yesterday and she says that is all perfectly normal! For me the worst thing is not the vomitting but the tremendous migranes that I have for 3 to 4 days at a time, they go away for about a day then another starts back up! I try to not worry too much because the extra stress of worrying will just cause more problems for mother and baby! Try to relax and be satisfied that you and your doctors are doing everything you can to keep you and the baby healthy.

I am due in June, and I went through all of the same things that you did. I was very ill for about 2 months and lost 8 pounds. In the second trimester, it usually does get better, my sickness still kicks in every now and again, but I am entering my third trimester. This is my first and it is a scary thing, we've had our trips to the ER because of concerns, but pregnancy isn't totally awful, it's actually quite wonderful. Once you feel the baby squirming and moving around, the morning sickness means nothing anymore.

Amberjean, I am due on the 24th, and I too, am afraid that my child will be born on Halloween. Although I am scared because of what my BF decided to nickname the baby if it is born on that day: Alucard (the son of Dracula). So he is planning on me having a boy, and it will be born on Halloween. My only sure bet against such a terrible nickname is a girl NOT born on Halloween. YIKES! That name is enough to scare anyone. I will slam my legs shut until midnight on Halloween if it means that poor child wont be born on that day! :)

It is happen to me sometime with Heartburn, stomach cramp and problem with BW. Sometime don't wait to eat at all or afraid if I eat and get sick. I hate it!
I will know that after 4th month will be fine and no problem expect summer will be so Hot in CA! Ahh!
U can take Tum, Fiber mixture, or some of counter medication to take but ask ur Dr first before take it! :)

U are so luck! No one have my due date! My baby will born on October 31! Ahh! What an odd that I went to Ultrasound and my dr said the baby due is on Oct 28th. Sooo I know he/she will born before 10/31! Yay! No demon baby! LOL!

I think a lot of kid's would be pretty happy to have their birthday on Halloween, candy and presents, what more could they ask for?

my baby girl is due on halloween and i kind of find it offensive that you think children born on halloween are demons. she will be just as normal as a person born on a non-holiday.

I don't think that anyone meant to offend you Addys_mum, I think they were all saying it in good humor. I think your child will be great, Halloween baby or not, she'll be great because she is yours.
