My husband and I conceived our son last year on a camping trip (we'd like to think!) actually it was our first camping trip together, it was a very special and romantic weekend, and we weren't planning to get pregnant since my husband is 46 and me 34. So we want to start a family tradition that on that same weekend of April every year we take our son and we go camping at the same local state park. I'm kinda new at the whole baby thing, so I am concerned that 4 months is too young to take him camping. Most everyone I have asked has done this even with their kids at that young of an age. It is only 20 min from our house and 5 min from the local store, so if we did take him, and needed anything in an emergency we'd be fine, so I'm not really all that worried, but what do I bring with us for him?? We plan on tenting it the old fashioned way!! I just need some input on what I need to bring for the baby, so moms or dads please tell me about any camping trips u have made and what is necessary for baby and hopefully daddy can have his tradition this year! thank you for the input!!! cortney!
