New, needful

Hi guys,

I am new to forums, new to fatherhood and new to seeking advice. Currently I am in Iraq but my wife is in Germany with my 8 m/o daughter.

My wife is having the hardest time putting my daughter to sleep. I mean some days are great and other days are just horrific (in terms of her sleep). Does anyone have any advice that I could give?

I go on leave to visit them in a few weeks and I want to have some tools in my tool chest to assist her. It's really been hard on her.

Since your daughter is 8mo chances are she is teething. Does she have any teeth yet? A dose of tylenol, baby orajel, or I hear those new homeopathic teething tablets work really well.

My wife says that she already has her bottom teeth growing in. I suppose that there may be aggression there that may hinder her ability to sleep throughout the night. I can surely ask her if that may be the issue.

My son has 2 of his bottom teeth. They came in early Janruary, and he's been teething since. We've had some pretty bad days waiting for other ones to come in.
