I personally did not have this happen, but I have heard you can go up a 1/2 to a full shoe size because when you are pregnant, your body releases a hormone that loosens your ligaments to make way for the baby even in your feet and you can loosing your arch due to weight gain (caused by pregnancy), shoes with out support during pregnancy, or being on your feet too much. Any of these or a combination of them with your ligaments contributing to this as well. When this happens it may cause lower back problems and yes your feet stay that size and can get even bigger with future pregnancies. Just be sure you buy a good quality shoe for when you exercise or chase your little one around and maybe some inserts for those other shoes that don't offer good support can be changed out from shoe to shoe. Now you have an excuse to go shoe shopping! Just steer clear of flip flops for a while and not during any future pregnancies since you know you are prone to this.

This is a normal occurance. Unfortunatly they don't shrink back AND it happens with each pregnancy. You can grow up to one half size each time!! I have 3 children and I used to wear a size 5 1/2 but now I wear a 7!!!
