Hi!You can call me Nia, and I'm here to share my birth story. It was Halloween Day( I was due Nov.1st). My stomach is huge at this point, and I was having a lot of back pains. So I'm laying in bed with my boyfriend, when my mom decides I should take a walk. Remind you that I was soo nervous about going into labor. However, since it was Halloween, we took my little sisters trick-or-treating. Which wasn't that fun since I had to stop every few houses from my back pain. We continued walking around until my mother in law drove by and i went with her to the store. So we're in the car and I'm squirming around in the seat from the pain when she decides the contractions were coming every five minutes. She then TOLD me I was going to the hospital, I told her no:)So she called the ambulance, we're in the middle of the road.There were at least 3 police cars, all the kids trick-or-treating were walking by looking in the car trying to see what was going on. My little sister is in the car asking me what's wrong (she's only 3). My boyfriend comes with me in the ambulance. I get there and i was almost 5 centimeters apart. I'm crying at this point, they can't find a vein to give me the IV. After finding the vein, I moved to another room, got an epidural, and after that I was fine. Pain-free. Later on at 3:41am I had my daughter Aniyah 6 pounds and 8 ounces.....Boy WHAT A NIGHT!!
