My 7 month old is sick and it's just about the least fun thing I have ever done. It's so hard to watch him be miserable and though I think I know what's wrong there is the constant nagging of it being something else. I will prolly never have a baby that is this young during the winter ever again because apparantly kids can average 8 viral infections during the winter months. Is having a sick baby (before one year old) worse than any other age?

I can tell you this. After a certain age they are easier to clean up after because they can aim for the bucket or make it to the toilet, but it doesn't get easier on mommy's heart.

I think the harder part about a baby is that they cant tell you what is really wrong. It is easier with a toddler that can. Unless you have my toddler who claimes to have headaches and belly aches EVERYDAY!!! LOL. Good Luck

my 5 month old has a cold, so I feel your pain. I agree that when they get a little older, it gets a LITTLE easier, but it still sucks when they're sick no matter what age.

I have a 15 month old and she is sick now with a sinus infection. It sucks just as bad. She cant tell me that it hurts yet. She is just really cranky and wants me to hold her all the time. And its easier to clean when they learn to aim, but they can TELL you things that break your heart. "Make it better Mommy" and you cant.
