Has anyone had a misshapen or extra "lobe" on their placenta? At my ultrasound yesterday it showed that off the normal placenta was a thinner, stretched out piece of something(placenta?). The radiologist said it could just be an extra lobe, and if the baby took its nutrients from that, it wouldn't grow properly. But, everything was measuring right on track, so she said not to worry. Then I got a call from the dr's office today, and she said it may be a twin that never developed or something??!! Has anyone ever had anything like this??
