Trying to find a good school

We are trying to save money to buy our first home and we are up in the air about where and which neighborhood we want to purchase our home. Main thing is that we want a nice and affordable home near a good school district. So, I started a search to find great schools in our city and from there I search in the zipcode where the school is located.... hoping that we will find a great home in a great school district!!!!!
