I had subscribed to the Parenting magazine and this site around the same time last summer. At the time, there was a promo for a free baby bag with the subscription. Here we are 8 months later and nothing. I've called twice being told the same story that it's on back order. Yet how can they continue to advertise, in this month's issue, and offer on their card inserts, a baby bag with subscription. Obviously calling is not working and I don't know how to get further or to the top to get this resolved. Our current bag is seriously wearing out and I hope the second bag comes before the second baby. I refuse to believe they cannot get enough bags to meet demand, especially if the offer is continuous. It's enough to make me cancel my subscription. Can someone redirect me?

Hi. I'm afraid I can't help you with the customer service issue and I'm not sure what kind of bag they are offering but I have an extra diaper bag that I received from the hospital that I am not using and would be happy to send to you. Let me know if that is something you are interested in.

Wow. Here we are a year later and I'm STILL having the same problem that you had. I subscribed to the new Parenting Early Years and School Years magazines because I'm a family daycare provider and I thought my daycare parents might find the age-specific magazines useful. What a waste that was. Both magazines are pretty much the same except for a few tweaks here-n-there.
I had subscribed and paid last March-April 2009 for both magazines and was supposed to receive a different bag for each subscription. Yet it's now a year later (and FOUR phone calls later) and still... no bag. I definitely will not be renewing my subscription. I wont cancel it early because I have three years for the price of one... but I definitely wont bother renewing. What a pitty. I think I'll actually call them again today while I'm thinking of it. Oh - and I was hoping for the bags also because I'm expecting baby #2 in four more weeks now and I'm tight on money. Too bad parenting cant follow through with what they promised.
Did you ever end up getting your bag?

That is incredibly frustrating! I am sending this thread to our subscriptions department -- I will let you know what I hear back.

I'm so sorry -- I haven't heard back. We are not in the same office as the subscriptions team so I can't personally bug anyone face to face. Have you tried the subscriptions customer service number? It's 1-800-234-0847.

The ONLY reason I subscribed was for the bag... I have been waiting for it and waiting.. and now reading this is VERY disappointing. Thanks Parenting. :/
