So i guess since nobody else is gonna start this thread i guess i will. so heres my birth story.
(sorry if i go into to much detail)
March 16,2007, we were watching a movie at home with my DH mother, brother and his friend. when it felt like i had to go pee, got up went pee then noticed it was like i was still peeing so i went to the bathroom again. within 30 minutes i had to change my panties and pantie liner like 20 times. so i called my mom she told me to call my Dr cause she thought my water was breaking. so i did and he told me to go to the hospital. so we got ready said bye to our company drove the 20 minutes to the hospital got there at 11:30 pm signed in went straight up to OB they checked me i was 2cm dilated. and yes my water was leaking, slowly! so i did a whole bunch of walking up and down the hall sat in a rocking chair did some more walking, they checked me 3hrs later and 3cm! AHHH! i wanted to scream! so did some more walking and at about 5 in the morning they came and checked me again and still at 3, so they told me to try to get some sleep since i wasnt progressing very fast, so i tried to sleep, (yeah right!) and my Dr came in at 7am checked me and i was at 5cm!!! YAY!!! and i just laid in bed. so he told me to do some more walking and to sit in the rocker for a while, so i did and he said he would come back at lunch. so noon came around and i was still at 5cm, so he gave me pitosin (sp) and 12:30 oh and i should of said that whole time i felt NOTHING no contractions no pressure NOTHING! so anyway the pitosin (sp) kicked in at 12:48 (i remember starting at the clock!) and had some really hard contractions i was pretty sure i was dying! i couldnt move, open my eyes, or even push the call button! so my mom pushed the call button and they all came in checked me and i was at 10cm and ready to push! they got everything together and got me ready and at 1:14pm my son was born. March 14, 2007, 7lbs 4oz and 20inches long! healthy little boy he started to scream instantly!
its so funny that it happened almost 2yrs ago and i still remember every last detail! i still remember those little quivering baby lips while he was screaming. i cant wait till i can be back in that moment with baby #2 in Sept!!!!
