Hi Ashley

Seems we both found out on Feb. 27th we are preggy.

This is my first time and my boyfriend and I are excited and nervous at the same time. I just turned 37 on Feb. 26th, so I guess this news is the best birthday gift.

I have never gone to one of these forums before, but I have been reading alot of information the last few days.

I am a bit nervous today, as I noticed a bit of spotting this morning when I got up. It was pinkish/brownish, but after talking with someone on the local health line, it seems this is normal, but I have to just take it easy for the next 48 hours.

HI! I found out yesterday via HPT, and went today for blood confirmation. It was positive and I have an estimated due date of nov 11! Anywho, I am 24 and a physical therapy graduate student so my life is already crazy hectic, but thats the way I like it. Ive been married 3 years and we have a little man who will turn 2 in April.

Congratulations to you two! Im sure we have many more join us soon.

clancey - happy late bday. And your right, small amounts of brown or pink spotting is completely normal, sometimes throughout the entire first trimester. Just let your DR know if it is bright red or gets heavier.

Ashley - Congrats to you too! Chemo? You must be a fighter, pregnancy should be a peice of cake for you! And if it gets trying then thats what we are for!

Anywho, Im gonna sign off for now. My son and American Idol are competing for my time!

I think my due date is around Nov 4th. I had my blood work done today, and should know something in the next 2 weeks. However, I will probably wait and see the doctor in 3 weeks time as we discussed last week.

It still hasn't sunk in that I'm pregnant. My bbs are tender, but not tender to the touch, I'm peeing alot and tired. That is about all the symptoms I have right now. I have read quite a bit the last couple of days thinking I should be experiencing more symptoms, but find out I'm normal! HA! who knew!

Today marks Week #5 for me. We told very few people so far as we want to hold off a little longer into this trimester before telling the world. We want to make sure everything is going to be okay.

I am in the process of house hunting, so that is a bit stressful, and trying hard to rest as much as I can and relax. I am reading alot and working on my sewing and quilting. That is helping me alot and getting my mind off the house hunting part.

I am happy I found this site, and have new Mums and "Mums to be again" that are due in the same month I am! It's nice to have people to chat to that are going through the same phases right now!

Cheers
Andrea

mommymoss84-- How is everything going? Any morning sickness yet?

MommyMoss84
03-05-2009, 08:21 AM
Everything is good my direction. I have to say that I was really blessed the first time around and I had absolutely no symptoms with my first child. The worst it got was during my last month and my lower back hurt and made it almost impossible to get comfortable, but I had no sickness or any of the other dreaded pregnancy symptoms. So far I am in the clear, but i am knocking on wood as I say that. It is still really early and they say morning sickness can pop up anytime!

Sagel - the time stamp thing on here is messed up usually by a few hours. I dont know how to fix it though. Congratulations on having such a big family, and on adding another to the brood. I am also wanting to have 4 children since I come from a large family!

I am glad that everyone is still feeling good. I have my fingers crossed that it stays that way!

Congrats to you all!!!!!!
My due date is Nov. 1. I just found out yesterday and I am excited, nervous, etc. I have a 10 yr old, so this is pretty much all new to me (again). My husband is so excited (his first). Any (interesting) suggestions on how to tell the in-laws?

MommyMoss84
03-06-2009, 10:35 AM
Well I told my in-laws last night. We already have a 23 months old. I happened to come across a tshirt on the clearance rack a few months back that said "only child" which was crossed out and beneath it said "big brother". Even though I wasn't pregnant at the time, we were trying. And for 2$ I figured it didnt matter if he outgrew it. So last night was my MIL's birthday and they all came over to the house for some cake and icecream, and my son was dressed in his declarative tshirt. It took them over 30 minutes to realize what his shirt said and even then they weren't sure what was going on. But they loved it and were super excited!

amclancey
03-06-2009, 07:25 PM
Mommy Moss that was a cute way to inform the inlaws. We still haven't told db's parents yet. My Mum knows and is elated. He knows that as soon as his parents know the whole city will know. We are trying hard to wait and tell people a bit later, at least once the blood work is in and I go back to see the doctor end of the month.

Ashley, seems we may be close to delivering the same time!!! How exciting!

I started Week 5 this past Wednesday, so I'm almost 5 1/2 weeks already. I read ahead to see what will happen with lil kiddo next week. By week sick there will be a teeny tiny heart beat, and kiddo will only be the size of a apple seed!!! So incredible!!!

Was very tired at work today, I nearly fell asleep a couple times at my desk. I decided to take home some work this weekend to play a bit of catch up. Been in a lot of meetings and training sessions this week.

Cheers!

Hello ladies, first let me say CONGRATS! I just found out I'm pregnant and cannot be any happier. My estimated due date is November 11th. My boyfriend and I were not trying but deep down we both wanted to so bad, financially things aren't what we'd like and I'm still attending school, but when is the right time?!?! Since Thursday when I found out I have done so much research! I can't believe how much info is out there...thank GOD! I'm waiting for my first doctors visit before I tell my family. I would like the ultrasound picture as part of my "big reveal". I am 26 years old but my dad still considers me his baby, so I need to really plan out how I will let him know. Its kind of freaking me out! Lol. But I think he'll be excited once the shock wears off. Oh, and just a little off-handed info, my boyfriend picked out my profile name...and I can't seem to change it! :) He is a dork sometimes, lol. Have a great week ladies!

Hi guys, Sexi - welcome! I know what you mean about letting your SO choose your screen name, I could never give my husband that kind of power unless I wanted to world to know me as sugarbutt or something way more obscene! And I wanted to let you know that Im still in school too working on my masters so don't worry too much about that, you will work it out.

Anyways, when i say I am tired, that is the understatement of the century. I am so tired ALL the time. Yesterday we slept in late because of the time change and everything got up about 9, made breakfast, and was ready to go back to bed again. Instead we went to the mall to get a few things, and I actually sat at the play area with my son while my husband had to shop. I was so fatigued that I felt almost outside of my own body, and I went to sleep the second we came home. Then I went back to bed last night at 8:30 and I woke up at 6 this morning still sleepy! This is nuts!

I completely agree with you, Moss. Not only am I tired all the time, I can't wake up! Definitely in a fog. But, I am counting my blessings as I am not sick! However, my new best friend, besides my bed, is my bathroom!

Congratulations to everyone!!!

I just took my HPT yesterday, and got a positive!!! My husband and I are so excited. He is 24 and I am 23, and this will be our first baby. The only real symptoms I've had so far are being REALLY tired, and burping all the time. I swear, I knew I was pregnant as soon as I started burping after I ate or drank anything (very out of the ordinary)! My due date is Nov. 14th!

Mommyslb... I too am lucky that so far I haven't been sick. I hope it stays that way. I am at week 6 right now. My new best friend is also the bathroom!!!

Welcome to the new mommys to be!!! It's exciting times for all of us!

Hi all! Congrats all around! I just found out I'm preggo and am waiting for my 1st doc appt this coming Tuesday.. can't come soon enough! It will be our first baby, my husband and I have been trying for almost 2 years & we're ecstatic that it finally happened :) I'm 27 and will be due November 20th. Symptoms so far are mild cramping, fatigue, sore boobs.. nothing much else yet! Apparently all normal symptoms, but I'll feel better after my blood test. Hope you're all doing well so far!

Moss--lol, reading that made me laugh, I walked away for a minute and when I came back he had it already set up. He tries to take what little power he can get! :)
I did not think I would be this tired so early in the preg. I read that working out helps with this so I'm still working out 4x a weeks. I have been going to bed by 9...usually it wouldn't be until midnight...and its so hard to wake up in the morning. I gave up my usual 10 cups of coffee so that is hardest is the morning. Everyday during my lunch at work, I start getting the dizziness and the nausea. I haven't thrown up but I think its working its way to that soon enough.
I am so happy and can't wait to have my little watermelon belly. Have a great Sunday ladies.

Hi guys, I hope you guys have been doing good. I'm finally experiencing the not fun symptoms. My breasts are so sore, Im tired all the time, sometimes the thought of food makes me wanna hurl, I feel like I have that restless leg syndrome, and I'm getting fat! I haven't gained any actual weight on the scale, but none of my clothes seem to fit. I heard that you start to show earlier with your second pregnancy, but this is really early. It's starting to get on my nerves! lol I love being big and preggo, but I feel like right now I just look like Im putting on weight!

On a happier note, I go and have my first ultrasound on the 26th and I absolutely cannot wait! Seeing the little bean in there and hearing "her" heartbeat is gonna be the best!

HI MommyMoss

I feel my clothes a bit tight now, although I have a long way to go before I start showing, but I do feel I have some extra weight on.
I decided to walk home from work today, as being in a stuffy office can really make me more tired than I already am. The fresh air, sunshine and excercise felt great! Now I just want to take another cat nap! I read that last week the heartbeat would have started. I think that is so amazing!!!! Tomorrow I start Week 7. I will have a baby the size of a raspberry by the end of the week LOL.. too funny! Baby is growing fast!!!

Hello ladies..
as well as ya'll I am due in November...I have a due date for NOV5th..
I hadn't really begun to feel any symptoms untill my 6th weeks...
I have morning sickness everyday--usually throughout the morning and it seems to get better throughout the evening.
I bought the sea-band for morning sickness but it does not seem to be helping too much. I can usually only hold small meals in my stomach and those that are eaten later in the day.
This is my first baby so I am excited about that but I just want this morning sickness to be over soon.
Like many of you I also sleep a lot...
It's nice to have found a forum with ladies that I can relate myself too!!

Genesis.. I have been lucky so far and have had no morning sickness. I will take the sore bbs and tiredness and frequent peeing anyday over morning sickness!

hi guys, sorry its been a little bit. Im in my 7th week according to when I went for my blood test. I go tomorrow for my first appointment and ultrasound and im so excited! That will give us a better idea exactly how far along I am. Plus, I will get to see the baby! Or should I say the peanut? lol

I am feeling extra queasy today. This has been the first time I have actually thrown up in the past few weeks so I guess I am doing ok. Apparently my tummy doesn't like cinnamon raisin toast! lol I also can't stand Mexican food anymore, and that is my fav. But on the bright side, I am not as moody as I was those first couple of weeks! lol

I hope you ladies are doing good!

Hi again, I'm at 6 weeks now & just yesterday I had a bit of a scare.. some bright red blood! But there wasn't much of it, and turned into brown spotting right away.. then disappeared and no sign of it today. My doctor is having me do 3 HCG blood tests over the next few days to see if my levels are going up (good) or down (bad). So please cross your fingers for me, this is my first time & I've been wanting this pregnancy for 2 years.. my final blood test is on Monday & hopefully I'll know my results soon after that.

I hope the rest of you are doing well! That's exciting MommyMoss, I hope your ultrasound went well, do you get to keep a picture of the "peanut" for your fridge??

Im 24 and i'm due november 17th. This is our second try. i missacarried the first time due to anxiety. I just hope this time the baby is healthy and safe. I am just so stressed that something is going to happen at every abdomen pain and morning sickness. Is there any advice to calm my nerves? I know I'm anxious as it is and the stress makes it worse for the baby. Or just any advice in general for a new mom? Also my job is so stressful and the lack of sleep and fatigue is really getting to me?

I just took my test last night and am dying to tell SOMEONE! Very fresh...not sure of the exact date may be the end of Nov or beginning of Dec. And since the Dec. board isn't up and going yet...I will visit with you ladies until I get a confirmation on my due date! :) I am 33 with 2 children 6 and 7. All have been planned...and this one we got on our first go around! That was way too quick! But ohhh sooo Happy!

I had morning sickness with both children...and to be honest...I was very thankful for it! It was my way of knowing that everything is alright...everything was progressing!!! That is what my Dr. told me...so it was actually a relief when it did happen. I got it every morning during the 1st trimester with my son and 1/2 into my second with my daughter. So, Shammyrockers...keep that in mind and be thankful for it...it will ease your mind!

Congrats to all! It is hard not telling people for me...plus I know if I say anything to my kids the whole school will know! Not sure how long I will last...plus we will be visiting the in-laws this up coming weekend...and man that will be hard to bite our lips!

Congratulations to you all! We are expecting our first on November 11 and are incredibly excited. It certainly comes with anxiety, though - I want to enjoy this time, but also want to get through the first trimester so I can breathe a sigh of relief. I've had consistent cramping the whole time, but because I know it's my uterus growing, I secretly love those twinges because I know my body's getting ready for our baby. Exhaustion and breast pain are part of my pregger package, too.

So I started Week #9 this week. Where is the time going!!! I am not far from finishing the first trimester!! I am now finding my pants starting to get tight!!! I have gained about 5-6 pounds over the last few weeks and I can really see and feel the difference. The other night sweetie and I headed to the Maternity Store in one of the local shopping centres. He bought me a really nice summer outfit of a pair of cargo pants that can fold up and buttoned to become capris and a nice v-neck black short sleeve shirt.

I also picked up one of those stretchable tube bands. They work great! I can wear my good dress pants and jeans and just unbutton them. The tube goes over the band of the pants and keeps the pants up!!! I started wearing it the past weekend and now I have to wear it all the time! I can't button up any of my pants now!! LOL

I finally got a date for my first ultrasound. I will be 19 weeks along (I think). It will be June 9th! At that time we will hear the baby's heartbeat and hopefully (if baby is positioned right) if we have a baby boy or a baby girl!!! I don't know if I can wait that long!!! LOL

Cheers!

Hey ladies! I'm 32 and this will be my first. My due date is 11/1. I cant wait to find out the sex. I'm not married but my boyfriend wants this more than even I do I think. So far only had 2 weeks of nausea and it was probably more nerves than anything. Oh and my waist is ever expanding. I'm eating like a crazy person-probably also from having quit smoking.
I'm so lonely for preg friends so I'm glad I found this board!

Hey all, it took longer than I thought to get my blood test results back, because my doctor was away.. but my HCG levels are fine! I'm very relieved and can't wait till my next appointment - going to try to hear the heart beat :) Hope you're all doing well! Anyone showing yet? Hello Ladies my name is Katie and I'm 9 weeks along. I also have a son who will be 3 in June, so I'm pretty nervous about having 2 little ones to take care of, but luckily I have a very helpful husband. My due date is November 29th and I sure can't wait to get through this summer. I'm just starting to show, so hardly none of my pants will button. Hi guys, I hope all of you are feeling well and growing healthy little babies!

So Im finishing up my 13th week and Im not really nauseated anymore, but Im still super tired and my breasts are crazy sore. Actually its not my breasts, its my nipples! They hurt, itch, and feel weird all at the same time! Sorry if thats TMI, lol!

My worry is that while I had gained a total of four pounds at my 11 weeks visit, I have lost all of it plus a few. Im not throwing up, I just fill up so quickly and food doesn't seem to taste as good. Im trying to eat little bits all day, but the weight still keeps coming off. I go back though on the 21st for a checkup and im sure he will let me know if I need to worry.

One final happy note, this next Dr visit on the 21st they are doing a gender scan ultrasound so I'm so super excited! Im thinking pink because I really want a little girl, but my husband and son are hoping blue so they have someone else to play with! lol, i figure either way we are blessed and can't wait to see my little baby in there again!

Hi, my name is Erin, I'm 27 and this is our 4th and our last. My husband and I have been married for 8 years and we will have a 6, 4, and a 2 year old in July/August. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a another boy since I only have 1 of those so far! All is going well so far, not too much sickness, just extremely tired all the time, so I quit my nursing and military career and I'm now staying home with all my little friends and then some extra's! Yay for being out of the first trimester and hoping for smooth sailing the rest of the way!

Hi Everyone. I'm pregnant with my 1st child and I'm due November 19th. This has been a very emotional roller coaster from the very beginning. Although I would consider myself somewhat lucky I made it through the 1st trimester without any morning sickness. Anyway I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself to all the other November mommies to be and anybody else that wants a new friend.
