Last week we started letting our 5 month old to cry it out using the gradual method. We started at 5 min intervals. By Saturday night she was down in less than 15 minutes but her voice has gotten squeaky. Because of being around family over the weekend and completely out of her element we're back to square one on Monday. Now her voice is almost gone and she wants to be held during her day time naps. Did anyone else have this problem? How did you get your baby on a regular schedule? No matter what I do, I can't seem to get her on one. She just gets more and more tired every day...and so do I. :(

I'm not sure if you can give a baby honey or not so I'd ask your pediatrician about it first ,but I would try to work on her throat first! The only way my son got on a routine was to let him cry it out and if I'd go into the room I'd give him his suther/blanket and tell him it's nap/night time and walk out the room!I also stayed home for a week or two and wrote down the schedule of his day and looked for patterns and then tried to fine tune it to a routine! If you always do things the same way everyday no matter the circumstances she will adjust! It just takes time. Good Luck!
