My husbands family took my 2 year old & 10 month old to get their photo taken with the Easter bunny without my knowledge. My husband doesn't understand why I was so upset. I missed my kids first reaction to the Easter bunny. I can't even tell his family how that makes me feel. But in my husband's eyes I was being selfish because I was upset with everyone. Does anyone else feel the same as I do?

I completely understand you on this one. My mother in law is a college professor. She wanted to takeour daughter to the college the first week she was home. My husband could not understand that, even at 3 months, I had an issue with her going to a college an hour away with his mother. Why? She refuses to change her diapers or even feed her. I finally gave in last week. First, she could not even carry her to the car in her carseat herself (she is overweight to boot). Then, she had her gone for 6 hours, as opposed to the 3-hour time limit i gave her. Then, after she came home, she informed us all that her colleague was her rescue because she was "too busy to feed her or change her diaper, even if she absolutely had to do it herself". I told my husband NEVER AGAIN....and now his mother hates me because I won't let her take my child anywhere anymore.
