I was wondering if anyone knows how to get 'baby vomit/urine' smells out of a cot mattress... I have just gotten my cot back from my sister-in-law who had borrowed it for her child, and the mattress smells - I don't think she used a matress protector on it.
I have washed the cover, but am unsure what to do with the matress itself. I would prefer a non-chemical solution if possible - does anyone know if bicarb soda works dry, or would I need to wet the mattress? Any other suggestions? Money is tight, so I would prefer to not have to get a new one....
