Hello, My name is Shantel and I am stay at home mother of five children, 4 girls and 1 boy. I am 26 and have been married for 7 years. I live in a small town in Oregon. I am interested in talking to other people about having children and venting when I need to...:D

I am a young mother and I love being one. My husband and I are planning on trying to conceive baby number 6 in August....not looking for put downs, got plenty of them on another site...just interested in talking...;)

No put downs from me! I think it's great that you are able to take care of this many children :) I don't think I could do it and keep my sanity! It's just awful how some people feel they need to give you their (negative) opinion about everything children related, especially when you didn't ask! lol

WOW i give you nothing but praise being able to stay home with 5 kids and still want another one!!! im pretty sure i would be in the nut house! lol! i hava a 2yr old and 20 weeks pregnant and not sure how this is going to work! :)

I am also a stay at home mother of five. I simply don't have the energy for a number six, though! My oldest is 13 and the youngest just turned 1 year last week. I homeschool them, and do lots of volunteer time in their various "outside" activities. Kids are fabulous! The only goal I had in high school was to be a mother, much to my teachers' dismay. I was an excellent student and they felt that I would be wasting my talent. I cannot look at my family and feel anything but accomplishment and gratitude at being given such a wonderful opportunity!
