Was it positive or just wishful thinking

I am 8 days late. I took a test yesterday. Plus sign is BFP - minus sign is BFN. Well when I checked after 5 minutes there was definitely a minus sign but the other line to make a positive was there but barely. The instructions that came w/ the test said that one line can be weaker than the other but it still means postive. What should I do next?

I would take another pregnancy test. If it shows a weak positive, then I would call the doctor and get them to do a pregnancy test to make sure. Good luck!

I took 8 tests with my first baby...after ten months of trying, I was sure I couldn't be pregnant!

Buy a two pack and take them both. Then call your doctor for a blood test.

I would take another pregnacy test as well. If the second line is still weak (which usally means positive, the same thing happened to me) then set up an appointment with your OBGYN or doctor. They can have a blood test done.

When that happened to me I used every brand of pregnacy test I could find at Meijers. Personally I like the first response.

The best ones are the digital. There's no mistaking if it says pos or neg. Go to your local health department and they will do one for free for you and if it says yes take that to your OBGYN and they'll set up a blood preg test for you. :-D Good luck!

I took 5 test before one was positive and I did what killansmommy said got a digital. When we thought of when we could of got pregnant,When I got a positive sign it was exactly 2 weeks from the last time we thought it could of been so the pregnancy horomones were not stong enough to make the test positive doc said only a blood test could of caught it that early.Good luck!
