Fall, unhealed contusion

My daughter fell at daycare the end of August. She got a LARGE hematoma (blood filled contusion) on her forehead. We went to the ER, everything was okay. Thing is, she still has a lump. Not huge but you can see it and it creases when she lifts her eyebrows! Her doc. has looked at it, isn't too worried. Wondering if anyone else has had this sort of experience. I cannot find any info online about unhealed ones.

I had a large hematoma from my rather long birthing experience as a baby. It took quite a few months to absorb and look completely normal. If the Dr. isn't concerned, I wouldn't worry about it.
