Every year in December we have a family progressive dinner so that we get to see everyone's homes decorated for the holidays. The kids love this tradition. There is now 21 of us traveling around for our dinner. The little cousins love to jump in one another's cars for the rides between homes.
This year our plan is 1st stop: chips and salsa, 2nd stop: cheese crisps and taco salad, 3rd stop: green chili burros 4th stop: dessert. Every home provides their own paper goods and drinks for their part of the dinner.
You could do this any time of year as a family or with your friends. Sometimes we plan activities for each house as well.
