Right after i had my daughter everyone said "oh, you look so great!" or "dont worry your still a little swollen it will go down" now she is two months i feel that the ten pounds has actually turned in to fifteen and it has become more noticeable....i feel like i dont have time to work out between being a new mom, a full time student, a good wife, and a housekepper! will i EVER lose this weight?!?!?

I thought the same thing with my first one, but it took time and it came off. It's ironic I'm saying this but your baby's 2 months old...having only ten pounds is nothing to worry about. Do a little here and there. You know, they have DVDs with ten minute intervals. It'll happen eventually. My son is 3 months old and I have 35 pounds to go for my target weight; I've lost 60 pounds. So, I know how it feels. Don't you wish it was easier????

Do you ever take your baby to school with you? With my first one, I took off the last 5 pounds just pushing my baby (and all my books) in the stroller around campus (like trips to the library)! It was a great workout! Also, I would add that it takes at least a year for your body to recover fully from having a baby, and even then, your body won't be exactly as it was before, but don't be too hard on yourself because you haven't lost all your baby weight after just two months! That really isn't very long at all. Even after my first baby, when the weight loss was the easiest (and when I had the least to lose), it took about 4 1/2 months, and after my third one, it took about 9 months. I also didn't gain a lot of weight (28 pounds with #1, 35 with #s 2 and 3), so if you gained more weight, keep in mind that it can take a little bit longer. Hang in there!

Wow. I am in the same boat. The dvd suggestion is awesome. I just discovered them. I have a step dvd that is great. I can't wait to buy more. As far as the time, I usually do it when my husband is at home so he could watch the baby.

I have the exact same problem. I feel like my last 10 pounds turned into 15 pounds. My son is 8 months and I just haven’t had the time to really get a workout routine in shape. I am so happy it is going to be spring soon because I plan to take my son out for walks around the neighborhood. I have even thought about going to the mall with him and do a few laps around the perimeter (I will just have to make sure I leave my credit cards at home!!!)
The DVD suggestion sounds awesome; I will definitely have to look into them.
