Re-introducing bottle

My milk has not come in right away when my daughter was born in October. So, I had to introduce formula as well. Things have been going on really well for the first couple of weeks when she started having some reflux issue. She was okay when breastfed but had reflux problems with formula. We tried various brands but nothing worked and things were getting worse. So, I stopped giving her formula and she was exclusively breastfed. I stopped pumping and she ate directly from breast all the time. Now at 5 months of age, she is teething and she bites REALLY REALLY HARD. My nipples are very tender and became red and swollen due to all of those chewing and biting. I have been trying to reintroduce bottle but she would not take it. I first tried with the expressed breast milk, then a mixture of formula and breastmilk, tried different types of bottles, added a little sugar into the formula.........NOTHING WORKS!!! She drinks water from the bottle happily but nothing else. I bought her teether toys but she does not take it. I am going crazy with her.
Can anyone out there help me at all? I need some advice that really works........PLEASE HELP ME.

When my son hit 5 months, his two bottom teeth came in, too. I wasn't as dedicated as you, though; I gave up. He bit, and that was it. Anyway, if you had to take her to daycare and it wasn't possible to breastfeed, what would you do? You would just have to make her want the bottle. It sounds like she's being stubborn, and knows she likes your breast better than a rubber nipple. But, babies will not starve themselves. If you still want to pump, then I would keep trying that in the bottle, b/c that taste is the most familiar. But if you want to wean her entirely, I would do the formula. If she'll drink the water from the bottle, then she's just being picky, b/c she can be. It's kind of amazing how much personality and attitude they can have at that age. I hope that helps. Good Luck!
