I don't know any of the acronyms for the blog, but I hope to have some information that may help someone. I have have been battling infertility for a couple years after having a very easy pregnancy resulting in the birth of my son almost 4 years ago at the age of 35. After his birth I had one miscarriage. A year and a half ago I started taking all the usual fertility injections and suppositories and had one IUI, but nothing worked. Then last May when I heard about the drug, Estradiol. I travelled out of my home state to get the protocol for treatment using Estradiol (very, VERY low dose) so my doctor could administer it for me. He had never heard of using the drug in this way at that dose. The doctor I went to visit told me I was starting to ovulate the last day of my period and that Estradiol would keep my body from ovulating until I was supposed to. Then I was to do homework. Well it took six months (since last May) and my husband and I did homework and I have now been pregnant for four weeks. Now, of course, I'm a nervous wreck because I don't want to lose the fetus. I am about a month along and am using the Cronine. Hope this helps. I wish I had the information a while back.
