I've recently come to a heart-dropping realization...
My baby is going to grow up.
He's only nine months old now. What am I going to do when his world doesn't revolve around me? What am I going to do when I'm not his everything?
I don't want for him to be forty and living in my basement. I know he has to grow up, but what's the hurry?

I'm with you! My oldest is six and I am shocked that it has gone so quickly! Where is that little baby in my arms? She skipped Kindergarten this year and was put into first grade in November - and then a month later, I realized that it means she will leave for college a whole year earlier!!!! I wanted to rewind time and say NO WAY! I can't imagine life without these little people.

It's amazing no matter how frustrated you get with your kids at times, it rips your heart out to think about them leaving. I even dread 16 and being with friends all the time. I don't think I did it so bad, but when both my younger brothers hit 16, they might as well moved out, or so it seemed. My 17 yr old cousin is doing the same thing right now. He's got the vehicle, and a girlfriend, and extracurricular stuff. . . . my aunt is going nuts b/c he's her baby.
