I have an 11 month old and would like to wean her soon to whole milk. She drinks from a sippy cup just fine and eats solids/baby food, at least 3 meals a day but continues to nurse every 3 hours, when I am around and if I leave her with my husband or mom she is fine without it. Suggestions?

First question, is she drinking whole milk now? Or are you trying to both wean and introduce cow's milk at the same time?
Second question, does she nurse at specific times of the day? (Waking, nap, bedtime, etc) If so, what happens if she's with your husband or mother during those times?
Last question, what's the longest she's gone without nursing?

What I did with my son was replace one nursing session with cow's milk in a sippy cup. I picked a time of day that he normally nursed well and wasn't usually fussy. The first time he had milk, he didn't care for it much, but I didn't offer the breast, so he eventually took the milk. I waited a few days (so my body could adjust) and then dropped another nursing session, replacing it with the sippy cup. I went one at a time until he was completely weaned. Because we went slowly, it wasn't too uncomfortable for me or him.
