Today is my birthday. I am a middle child, my birthday is always around Thanksgiving (obviously) and has been forgotten on more than one occasion.
Okay, I'm a grown woman and have had plenty of birthdays. I hate my birthday. I say it every year: I'm not going to expect anything that way I won't be disappointed. But there's always a tiny part of me that still hopes for something nice. I can't help it. Is it so wrong or selfish of me to want a happy birthday???
I think I may just take matters into my own hands... get a babysitter and go get a pedicure or a facial or something!
