I've been lurking on this board for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be of such higher quality than some of the others, so I thought that I might stick around.

I am expecting my first in January and can't wait. It was not planned and quite a surprise, but we were thrilled once the initial shock wore off. I'm 27 and DH and I have been together for 7 years, although we've known each other for 12 or so.

I look forward to "getting to know" all of you.

Hi, welcome and congrats. I'm due Jan 5th with my first. What is your due date? We are having a girl and very excited. Like yours, my pregnancy was a suprise but my DH and I are very excited to meet our little girl!
