me & my husband want to name our baby girl due in march Aaliyah Ariel well our family & friends tell us that is an african american name & we r hispanic what do u think

I think they are both beautiful names...that being said I have no clue if they are african-american or what , but if you both like the names it shouldn't matter!! You could probably google the meaning of the name or the origin also!!

I think if you like a name, go with it, regardless of what race its most common in.
My husband and I plan to name a daughter if we have one Aryanna. We're white, everyone tells us that's an African American name too. So what? I like it, we're using it.
If we have a third son my husband really likes Angelo. Everyone tells us that's a Hispanic name. (in reality its not, its Italian, but it is frequently used by Hispanic people) and again, SO WHAT? We like it.
Shaniqua is well known as a stereotypical African name, but if you're Asian and want to use it, go for it!
That's just my opinion. Its YOUR child, YOUR decision.

Both Aliyah and Ariel are fairly common hebrew names, both with beautiful meanings, so I'd say go for it!
btw, I'm southamerican, and my hubby is russian, so finding a suitable name for our girl is quite a challenge lol
