This really doesn't have a lot to do with kids but since I am on here a good bit and I enjoys sports ( guy thing lol ) I was wondering who everybody likes. I am a Pittsburgh steeler fan, a Pittsburgh Pirate fan ( yes they suck) a Cleveland Cavs fan and I watch the NHL once in a blue moon>>pens... As for nascar I can't watch it, and golf puts me to sleep... As for college I am a Notre Dame ( yes they suck to) SO WHO DO YOU LIKE??????

Yeah. . . . I'm not really in to sports that much, but I will watch the Iowa Hawks play football if I catch it. I really enjoy watching our high school football team, and wrestling, but that's about it.
I would like for my boys to be well rounded and enjoy sports if they want to, but dh is totally NOT into sports. I guess it's up to me! LOL That's too bad!

take them to the high school football game. or let them watch espn. If you want them to get into sprorts there is always little league.

i'm a huuuge sports fan. pro football in particular but i watch a bit of almost everything. and yes, i love the sucky awful terrible 49ers =) its who i grew up watching, and i'm not a bandwagon kind of fan haha..i used 2 love basketball as a kid but now its too much melodrama for me so i watch a lil more college bball. i hear you about golf tho. its great to play (trust me i thought i would hate it), but just horrible to watch, lol...theres nothing like a full day of sunday football tho. that takes the cake

I think the NFL is the best pro market. The games are awesome and the salary cap is a great idea. I would stop watching if there was a yankee type franchise. Like I said above I am a huge Steelers fan..Apemberton if you had to pick only one nfl team who would it be??? bengals are going no where the are worse then the browns... atlanta is a future playoff team with ryan at QB... the titans are this years patriots, they will be good for a while but need to get young some menatal help...

NY Giants, Yankees, and Lakers. After the Gmen took home the Lombardi, and the Lakers were in the finals, I was starting to believe that all my favorite teams were going to win it all. Of course the Celtics believed otherwise and Girardi broke the Yankee 13 year streak.

There is only ONE sport and that's HOCKEY!!! ;-) I can't stand anything else.
Of course first and foremost I'm a Carolina Hurricanes fan! {{{{GO CAINES}}} but I am also a fan of the Detroit Red Wings, Calgary Flames, Anaheim Ducks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers.

Better to lose now than to go undefeated and lose in the Super Bowl.

all I loved it when the pats went undefeated and got creamed in the super bowl by the giants.. the pats are the one team I love to hate. I think the giants are going to repeat and win the super bowl again. I just don't see anyone beating them right now. if the nfl gets what they want they will have an all manning super bowl colts-giants... what do you think???

jets-giants??? that would be interesting but I doubt it. the jets always fall apart in the playoffs and can they beat the titans, steelers, colts to get there. will they even win their divison with the pats coming alive and the dolphins staying close??? I think in the AFC this is the year of the titans.. did u see what they did to the lions on thanksgiving. ya it's the 0 and a million lions but they crushed them... we'll see how good the titans are when they play pittsburgh in a couple of weeks.. pittsburghs deffense is arguably the best in all of football... we just need an offensive line..

Jets haven't had a big name QB since Willie Joe. Favre has been erratic, but the Jets are better off going into the playoffs with him than Pennington, Clemens, or anybody else they've had parked under center. Their O is firing on all cylinders right now. If they can continue this momentum into the playoffs, it's going to be amazing.
As for the Titans, I think they have the best chance to represent the AFC. I'm curious to see what kind of momentum they carry into the playoffs with WK 16/17 against the Steelers and Indy.

Ok, I know yall are all NFL fans here but I am an LSU fan!! Go Tigers!! :) I know, I know they suck lately. All b/c of 'whats his name' that got kicked off the team before the season even started for stupid stuff. Cant remember his name... Ryan Perilloux I think. He was great.. so much talent, but threw it all away!! Now were stuck with two freshman quarterbacks... Agh!!
I still bleed purple and gold though Lol

We're Ravens fans in our house and this season my son got a kick out of putting on his Ravens gear every Sunday. He likes to watch the game and follow the football (in between playing w/ his cars and trucks). He became more interested in throwing a football. He liked being a part of our happiness in watching the games and snacking and sometimes yelling at the tv or snuggling on the sofa. He felt included in our game time. 4 is a cool age. Pittsburgh sucks.

My wife and I have three season tickets, one for our son who is now 24 days old. I am seriously seeking baby earplugs, thinking of possibly taking him to the games. no, our seats aren't in a rowdy section, but it is still loud.

hey anabanana if pittsburgh sucks what does that say about the ravens?? pittsburgh put a beat down on them 3 times this year. don't hate the real teams. PITTSURGH NOW HAS 6 RINGS and will soon have 7. ravens have 1 ring and won't be going to the super bowl any time soon especially with ray lewis leaving.
to stingonJack, where do u have season tickets at? some of the games here get really cold, it might not be wise to take any child under two to a game in the winter or in the fall when you are playing a rival as the crowds can get intense.

Dallas Cowboys fan all the way here...I know, I know, let me have it! Mavs are cool, as are the Stars...but man, our Rangers suck. Still a huge fan though. I'm still waiting for some starting pitching. Could be a good long while since we trade away any good prospects we bring up. Love golf and tennis, can't watch NASCAR. Tiger is amazing to watch, even if you don't like golf.

this is actually my favorite time of the year for sports.
ncaa basketball and then baseball starts. i think the tournament in march is the greatest sporting event all year. ive always loved baseball and still enjoy it as much as i can even though its quickly becoming as tainted and preposterous as the nba and nfl.
i used to be really into hockey as a kid but have lost touch with it over the years.
im also a tennis fan and wimbledon is right around the corner.
i abhor fantasy leagues, though. to each his own, but for me they represent the epitome of boredom.

baseball will always be in my heart. it is a shame how bad it is tainted right now but baseball will pull through. there are millions of little kids with a chunk of wood and a ball running around the bases ( or trash can lids, cardboard, whatever they can use) as we speak. I think one of the best things for baseball is the world baseball classic. people from all walks of life getting together on a diamond and going at it. the steroid era is starting to fade away, yes bonds is on court and A-Fraud is the talk of morning radio right now but it will pass. the pro game has survied wars, strikes, scandals and now steroids, people will still go to the games and take their kids with them. I am planning a trip soon to go see wrigley field and hopefully one day when my son gets older he can tell his kids he got to sit in wrigley field and watch a game. I just hope my team will actually have a winning record this year and not set the record for most losing seasons in a row ( pirates)
