I am not sure how it happened but my son is still wearing pull-ups to bed. I have tried a number of things and am hoping you awesome moms/dads might have some new ideas for us to help him be done with this habit. We have tried going with out but doesn't wake up even when peeing in bed. Tried waking him up and walking him to bathroom but never goes pee. His pull-ups are always full and because he is very active, I am nervous about cutting off liquids too early but have tried. Any ideas/miracles you could share? Thanks so very much!!!

It may be because your sons bladder is not maturing at the same rate as the rest of him. I'm not sure if that's exactly the way it's explained but it's close enough. His bladder just might not be sending gotta go signals to the brain in his sleep. Once his bladder matures enough, he will stop wetting the bed. This is just my opinion BTW.

Completely agree with Cay8099. Sometimes the childs bladder does not mature until just before puberty. I have known a few people in my family that were late bed wetters. Drs have given them medication. Have had studies with psychologist, sleep studies done when child was still wetting the bed at 15. Parents will wake child every 2 hrs or so to take to toilet, limit liquids after a certain time etc. Just keep trying. Use the protective mattress covers and briefs if need be. good luck

My six-year-old stepson had a similar issue. Bed was just too snuggly to leave.
I went out and got him some cool stuff, some toys, a poster, some pajamas he wanted, and told him I was going to start putting one on the toilet at night after he'd gone to sleep -- I was also going to remove it before he woke up in the morning. He didn't know what the prizes were (make sure they're good ones!), but he was bummed when he'd wake up in the morning and hadn't gone to the toilet. The deal was he'd have to get up out of bed if he wanted the prize.
Finally, one night he got up and got his prize (and emptied his bladder). Next night, same thing. He started looking forward to the prizes, while he was learning a new routine.
After about a week or two, no more PullUps! Worked like a charm.
Good luck!

Wow!! That's a really great idea.
My cousin was 9 or 10 before she quit wetting the bed at night. Eventually she just grew out of it. If you've tried waking your son up in the middle of the night, consistently, for a good week or two, and still aren't having any luck I would say cay's probably right about his bladder not being mature enough yet. Give it 6 months and try again. As someone mentioned there is medicine that a Dr. can prescribe, but I'd say time is probably the best cure.
