Here’s a quick look at how message board etiquette works in the Parenting.com Community.
First and foremost, this is a place to share. It is a forum for moms and dads to give and get real-time advice, a place for healthy debates and discussions. And in order to keep us all comfortable with sharing, common courtesy is a must. Please be polite and respectful of each other. If you disagree with something that a member has written, take issue with the post, not the person who wrote it.
We ask that all users refrain from posting anything that is illegal, abusive, or pornographic. Personal attacks on other users, obscene language, or otherwise offensive content will result in automatic banning from the Parenting.com community. Stalking and any form of solicitation (such as spam, chain letters, and pyramid schemes) are strictly forbidden.
The Administrator reserves the right to do whatever he/she wishes with posts, including editing or deleting them.
Lastly, by posting to this site, your words become the property of the entire Parenting community. So if there is anything that you would not want to see in the pages of Parenting Magazine or quoted on the Web site, don’t post it.
For further information, please read the Terms of Use (http://www.parenting.com/CustomerService/termsPolicy.jsp). If you have any additional questions, send the administrator an email at messageboards@parenting.com.
