Hi everyone! I have a beautiful 6 year old daughter and recently my husband and I found out we were expecting spontaneous triplets. I'd love to talk to other moms who are currently expecting or already have multiples. I can use all the advice I can get!

Let me say congrats!! I have twins b/g and posted a thread called Freebies for Mothers of Multiples, be sure to check it out. You will need all the freebies you can get. The first thing we started doing when we found out about the twins was to start buying diapers. We used disposable, I couldn't do the cloth thing. Also, whenever you start shopping for furniture, be sure to tell them you are having triplets and ask for a discount. BabierUs has a 10% discount, but we went to a privately owned company and they gave us a great deal on the Sheffield collection.
See if there is a Mother of Multiples chapter where you live. You can contact them and they will put you with a "sister" who has multiples so you have someone close to talk with in person.
Be sure to have some help lined up for after the babies are born. You will need it for at least the first month after you bring them home until you can get them on a schedual. Don't expect to get anything done in your house once they come home. Just be glad when you have clean dishes and laundry. :)
It will be a lot of work, but the rewards are just priceless.

Congrats! Try and get all the help you can. If it isn't too much trouble, have them come on different days so you can get more help for a longer period of time.
I psyched myself out too much during my pregnancy. You will be amazed at how you can "just do it." You'll have tons of people ask you how you do it, and you just will! Multiples are such a different kind of joy- it's fantastic, enjoy the ride.

Hey - I have 3 year old spontaneous triplets!
We have been out of the baby stage for awhile but I will help all I can!
Also another site you can check out is TripletConnection.

I don't post much on there because some of the folks are kind of rude. But reading through the post helped me tons!
You can do it! I was 39 when mine were born! I had 6 weeks of hospital bedrest and the monkeys were in the NICU for 11 days. 34W5D GBB
Good Luck!

As a fellow parent of multiples, may I suggest signing up for a multiples-specific prenatal course ASAP!  If there is nothing in your area, check out www.babiesinbelly.com which is an online prenatal class for families expecting twins, triplets or more. It is taught by a certified teacher and mother of twins (sometimes better insight than a health practitioner, who knows all the medical stuff, but can’t tell you what it’s REALLY going to be like once you get those babies home, lol!)
