If you are anything like me, you probably didn't expect that you would be going through IVF, right? The daily shots, the mood swings, the weight gain, the "living in hope", the financial strain....
It sometimes seems like everyone but you has it easy, with baby showers, 3D sonogram photos showing up on FaceBook, and cute little pregnancy clothes, am I right?
It just doesn't seem fair, right? I just wanted to share one thing that has really helped me, and made this whole process something to look forward to, and appreciate.
I created an IVF vision board. It is filled with images of beautiful babies, eggs in nests, my shots and medication calendar and other beautiful images that remind me of the "why" I decided to go through this challenging process.
It was easy for me, as teaching vision boarding is what I do for a living. I do have to say, creating this beautiful masterpiece that I look at all day, every day, has given me back some of the empowerment that the entire infertility process had robbed me of.
