I'm very torn right now with my decision to TTC baby #2 and hope someone may be able to help! I'm a 27 yr. old mommy to a 3 year old and since my husband and I both want our children to be close in age we've decided I'll take out my Mirena in June and start TTC. The only problem is i'm back in college right now taking a full course load! Is it crazy to think I can manage going to college FT while being pregnant and parenting a toddler or do 'people do it all the time'? Need some direction and guidance! Thanks!

I have seen many people do it. But it isn't easy. You have to prioratize, which may mean giving up some family time so you can have study time. Having a 3 year old you already know a bit of what it is like. I babysat for a family that was finishing college the first 2 years of their baby's life. They had me in their home 10 hours a week so they could study, take the odd hour class, or simply take a little me time.

Since you are older (not just turned 20) and already have a child - you more likely have some good experience to tell you if this is a good plan or not. If you had 0 kids I'd really advise you to wait. But since you have 1 already, and you think you can do it, and are okay with taking a not quite full load if needed, and if you husband is fully committed to being 100% there for his family (ie he can do job and school, but doesn't go hunting for week and leave you all behind with a newborn and a term paper due) then it might be doable for you. Good luck with whatever you decide.
