Hi, my name is Amanda! DH & I have been trying for over 3 years! I was on Clomid for a few cycles with no success, so right now we are taking a break & TTC without any medicine.

Hey ladies!! I haven't been on here in a while either, but I had to get on here to share in the great news. Ater 28 months of trying, we finally got a BFP yesterday!!!!! I am so excited I can barely stand it. I am right around 5 weeks pregnant, I will call as soon as my doctor's office opens to schedule my first appointment!!!

You can all come to my house and drink my water if you want!!! Or take a bath in it! LOL!!!

Thank you all for being SO incredibly supportive during this time in my life, I will NEVER forget any of you and I hope you get your BFP's soon!!! I will stay in close touch though! You can't get rid of me that easily!

Soor I have been MIA lately.
I went for my yearly back in February & discussed my bad AF again with my doctor. She knows we went to the Specialist with no success. So she said the only option right now was to get on BC or try IUI/IVF with the infertility specialist. We are waiting on going back to the specialist for now so I decided to get BC a try. Not what I wanted AT ALL, but I felt I had not other option.
Anyways, fast forward to being on the BC which made me SO SICK I stopped taking it about 2 weeks in. I had what I am assuming is AF after not taking them. That was 11 days ago. So I am assuming today is CD12!
I know after this long our chance of getting pregnant naturally is about .05%, BUT I still hold out hope.

We are in the process of selling our house & I am hoping once we get back settled I can find a specialist in town & try IUI.
I am also trying a new OB/GYN. I am not happy with her & how she doesn't even attempt to try & fix my issues. So hopefully between the new OB & the new Specialist we will get pregnant! Or possibly by some miracle get pregnant on our own! (I can't help but hold out hope!)

thanks amanda! i was sooooooo dissapointed but im ok now. it would have been crazy to concieve so fast! that was only cycle #2. so now im on CD15 i dont think ive ovulated yet, CM is clear but still too thick. fingers crossed for this month.
ive been crazy busy and trying to do yoga to keep calm and relaxed and stress free. one of my sister in laws had a baby boy last week and another is due with a girl in september, #2 for both of them. i already have a dd (16 months!!!) and i have my fingers crossed that this time its another girl. i want boys too but i want a second girl so my dd can have a sister close in age.
anyway...good luck amanda, i hope you can concieve on ur own too. or at least that the new OB and specialist will be helpfull.

Not crazy, just lucky! Lol.
I have complete faith it will happen to you in no time. But I do know how disappointing it can be. In the meantime I am always here. Haha.I have seen everyone come & go on this board. We started these TTC threads back after I had been TTC for 9 months. Over 3 years later here still are!! I just have to laugh about it now!
If you have any questions feel free to ask. I am an open book & have tried just about everything.

I *think* I am going to order some OPKs for this next cycle. I tried them about a year into TTC, but got conflicting reports from them. So I am thinking they may be worth another shot!

hey everyone! any new bfp's? AF was due today or tomorrow, no sign of her today i have my fingers crossed that she no shows tomorrow too. DH is hiding the last preg. test from the most recent box lol. he said he'll let me take it tomorrow although i told him to hide it until thursday, but he's excited too. anyway, im thinking to go to bed early to make tomorrow come faster, lol, im like a little kid.

No BFP here. AF could show anywhere from yesterday until CD46, so I have a long wait.
I am hoping she shows up sooner rather than later though.

amanda- i know the feeling of hoping that if AF has to come at least she comes early to shorten the agonizing wait. i have my fingers crossed that this is lucky #40 for you. sticky, sticky baby dust.
i have a BFP!!!!! took the last test this morning and swore i could see a line, DH swore i was crazy. bought some more on my way home from work and there was a faint but definate line!!! im going to take one more tomorrow morning to make sure the line darkens some more and call the OBGYN for final confirmation but it looks like i have a BFP :)

YAAAY!!!! Aminor I am SO happy for you!! Amberton is definitely next!! :D I'm honestly quite shocked that Amberton is still here :( Your turn will come, my cousin did Invitro and conceived twins so maybe that's what will work for you.
Ruth, it'll come and if you're stressed out it makes it harder. Try and relax :)

I started a new job in April so we put ttc on a back burner because I wanted to ensure I was at the job long enough to get maternity leave (I'm in Canada and if I work 600 hours we are eligible to get Employment Insurance for a year). We are going to start trying again in August.

Hello Everyone! I'm new to this group. My name is Nicole. We have been TTC for over a year now. We have a fabulous 4 year old son, but are ready for baby #2! I have been tracking my ovulation, but unfortunately we still are not getting pregnant. Can anyone explain to me about the temperature tracking? Has anyone had success with that?

Amberton can probably fill you in on temperature tracking, she's very knowledgable. Unfortunatly I can't help you as I know nothing about temperature.

hello i have been ttc to almost 3 yrs after 2 miscarriages i have had no luck.. i have tried aall the vitamins ... nothing seems to work ..i am starting feel like it will never happen..my heart breaks ...what are some things that could possibly help????
