Please help! My wife is OCD not real bad just mild. She gets worse when shes pregnant, and gets horrible mood swings. Everything Ive researched says to be supportive and let the mood swings roll off and not take it personal. Im human and can only take so much. were just now 11 weeks pregnant, I know it will eventually go away but what do i do in the mean time?

Is there a mood regulating medication she can take safely while pregnant? If so it might be something to consider.
Also, mood swings are "normal" and tend to get a bit better after the first tri-mester (you are almost there).
In the meantime, is she aware of her OCD and moodswings? Talk together. Figure out together what really makes her tick, and agree you'll try to avoid doing those things. Also figure out what just mildly annoys her, and she agree to try to cope with those things happening. It will not fix it all, but it may help you two come to a better understanding that will help you to manage.

Go to her next OB's appointment and have a talk with her.
I hear where you're coming from but dealing with your wife's bad moods is nothing compared to being pregnant. Try to keep that in mind too.

Being someone who also is OCD, I've learned to somewhat manage it over time, what concerns do you have? Is she a counter? A neat freak?
Or could it be that she is just pregnant?
