Pregnancy after Plan B?

I have a dilemma.

On September 1st, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. Realizing that I was in my "fertile period", I went and bought some Plan B because I already have a 1 year old and my boyfriend and I just started dating. So, I take it and I get slightly crampy and then that was it. However, it jump started my period by a whole week and a half. This is apparently unusual (according to my Dr). My period came on light, I had one heavy day, and then all of the sudden, it was over. I am accustomed to periods that last about 7 days and this one was 4. And it just stopped. There was no spotting, no nothing. It was just over.

For the last three days, I've been battling a big headache and nausea. I had to leave work early today because my vision was going blurry and I thought I had a migraine coming on. I took a nap and woke up feeling like I was hit by a freight train.

What I am wondering is, how likely would it be for me to be pregnant? I'm thinking that even if I WAS pregnant, it would be too early for the tests to tell me. Has this happened to anyone else?

Wow ! I don't know... My advice is call your doctor and see. If my addition is correct it has been like 4 weeks so i don't know . I have never taken the plan b pill. I hope some others are more help than me.... good luck and keep me posted

Hey vamp I understand your dilemma. I also used Plan B 2yrs ago and still was pregnant, I don't know how but yes it happened. Unfortunately I miscarried at 9 weeks and wonder is the Plan B contributed to that. I bled the whole time, my body was out of whack behind this Plan B. I would never take it again. You should see your doctor if you suspect pregnancy for the safety of your baby in my opinion. Good luck!

Hi, I am curious as to whether or not you found out if you were pregnant. I too had unprotected sex on March 22nd (3am). I took plan b on March 24th (9am), well withing the time frame they recommend to take it, yet I still got pregnant. I thought maybe I was already pregnant (prior to march 22nd) or that I had gotten pregnant the following week when I had unprotected sex again (but he didn't ejaculate inside me). When I went for my 12 week ultrasound, measurements confirmed my due date and my conception date as March 21st. (my lmp dates also confirm ovulation would have occured on March 21st as well).
Anyway, they say plan b doesn't work for all women, I was just curious to see if it worked for you or not.
