Looking for thoughts...
My son was born at 29 weeks and 2 days. He was in the hospital for 107 days. He has been home for quite a while now. He is 4 months corrected age. I am stressing a lot over developmental milestones. He had the AS&Q screen done the other day and in a few areas, he was in the monitoring (grey) stage. That means he is not delayed but not quite up to par yet. Has anybody else had experience in this area? I feel like he is under a microscope. He is being evaluated by so many different organizations. It is really getting to me.

I have been there, believe me it isn't easy. My son was born at 29 weeks 2 days as well and he was followed for the past 3 years by several different organizations. It was hard at first, because he didn't meet milestones well, but as he got older he did. First know, you can only do what you can do. Your child will grow at their own rate, but make sure you put in the effort to help him. I dont' know what all organizations you work with, but the ones I did all just wanted the best for my son, even though it was hard to hear. I was always scared he'd never catch up...and he has. Just take it one day at a time, use the advice that they give you. I just played a lot with my son and I did what I could. If you ever need to talk, seriously, please reach out to me, I get it! I do and it is hard and you do feel like you are under a microscope. my email is denisenorthern@hotmail.com I am here anytime you need to talk!
