I've written articles for a gaming site I frequent, and occasionally write one parent-focused. This one fits that mold, and I think you all would find it interesting.
As Christmas comes closer, we are all aware of the people who are ignorant to the content of video games. They are either simple grandmas buying a game for the kid who wants it, oblivious to the content therein, or hypercharged into thinking games are dirty, and running on Capitol Hill (there's a Supreme Court case going on right now. Anyways, I wrote an article I felt is helpful for the holiday season: The Six Stages of Game Content Awareness:

Have a look, and please share it with friends who may not be privvy to how to understand what's in a game.
Thanks!
Ryan
