I've been hearing lately that feeding young girls non-organic milk can lead to early puberty, among other things. Our daughter is only 6 months old now, so it's not something we are going to start soon, but I want to be prepared and informed once the time comes.
Does anyone else have any opinions on Organic Milk? I'm very likely the last person that you would ever think would be into organic food, but when it comes to my daughter I want to make sure I'm doing everything right.
Thanks!

Yes, I've heard the same from a lot of people about non-organic milk. Just a couple months ago I found out my 7 yr old neice got her period! I was shocked. Girls are hitting puberty younger and younger these days and it has a lot to do w/ the hormones in lots of foods, not just milk. I would deff agree w/ your idea to get on the organic track, but it won't be easy. You'd have to start buying your milk and other dairy products organic, and your meat aswell. A bit pricier but it can really make a difference, plus the organic meats do taste better in my opinion. My husband and I have started buying organic as much as possible, mostly for the same reason that you're thinking of doing it. We really feel like it will make a difference in our childrens bodies/lives. Anyways, good luck!

Oh and one more thing! I would definitely look into starting now (or whenever your baby is old enough for cows milk and meats (if you've decided on organic)) because too many hormones are never a good thing and there have actually been cases of 2 year olds with pubic hair..! I know! crazy stuff but the sooner you start, the better :)
