The common flu can become a nightmare without the proper preventive care. Sadly, thousands of people in USA die from it every year. In most cases it leads to pneumonia if the flu shots are not given. Children and the elderly should take the vaccines first since they are more fragile and tend to get sick more often. You might get allergic reactions from the flu shot but it’s far better than suffering severe illnesses or dying from it. Patients with high fever* or who had severe allergic reaction to flu shots in the past cannot get the flu vaccine. You can take the flu vaccine all throughout the year especially during flu season. Vaccines are never 100% safe for anyone so ask your physician before taking it.
