Congratulations to everyone! I'm pregnant with my 5th. When I told my boss- she just laughed-alot. I teach 3rd grade at a Catholic School, and about a month or so ago, the Bishop was telling us about the population decline in Italy and Ireland, and soon it will effect the US. So I announced to him that since I have Health Ins now, I'm going home to help out the population of the United States! WEll, now I can let him know that I am a women who keeps her word!!

Hi all. I'm due May 9th according to the dr. BUT I'm bigger than a house and he dropped a week ago I honestly don't think I'll make it thru April. Everyone looks at me and says "he doesn't have any more room!!!!" I'm stretched to the max, I swear!!! Plus going by that due date I would have had my period August 1, and I didn't. My last period was middle of July. They went by the ultrasound, So I don't know...we'll see I guess. Just all the signs I have now, seem to say it'll be earlier than May 9th!!!

Hey everyone! First off...Congrats to everyone! My husband and I are just found out about a week and a half ago that we're expecting our first child around November 13th. We have our first ultrasound to determine a better due date on April 4th. We're both so excited!

ok I get to join the November club now. I was just informed they moved my due date to Nov 9th. I'm only 6 weeks along but they thought I was further or having multiples because of my Hcg levels. They only saw one so I guess we can rule that out and now they moved my due date. I was hoping to be further so I'd be closer to 12 wks and the risk of miscarriage goes down. I had previous losses before I had my second son but they said everything looked fine so I'm a little bit relieved. Hope to chat with all of you and good luck!

Hi girls - and congratulations to all of us!

My partner and I just found out this week that we are expecting our first on November 26.

It's been quite an adventure, after 5 unsuccessful IUI cycles, we switched to IVF - and switched to using her eggs (I'll be 40 in May, she's about a year younger).

Our first IVF attempt was successful, and things seem to be going well, so far.

I'm now 4w3d pregnant, and my beta HCG levels have been rising nicely over the past week. One more beta on Monday, then I'll have an ultrasound about a week later - and we'll find out how many little "Peeps" are in there.

(We transferred two really great looking embryos.)

We have alot in common actually. I am also 29 and my husband is also 33. I have a 6 year old son and I am due Nov 1st. It was the best for us because I have epilepsy and after having my son it brought on me being sick for several years. Now that I am seizure free we were able to conceive again. I feel that it is best for us because our son would be very helpful and he likes to help out and be there for the pregnancy. Not only does he asks questions about whats going on but its easier to explain to him what is happening with my body and the physical changes. I feel that this is very important because we allow him to help us make discisions within the pregnancy. He has also named the baby if it was a boy. We are going with the same name for a girl if he was a girl. I am gratful to share my knowledge to him. I feel that this is bringing him closer into the babies life. I also feel that this also helps him have the attention he needs so far for getting ready to have a sibling. I know that he also has friends in his class that their mothers are also expecting and he has the better knowledge about what is going on. This also helps us get our feelings about the baby. We do this at least once a week or so. Sometimes more.

I hope that my information helps you. I know it is hard because your first got all the attention for a while and bringing in another may develope problems. Thats why we as a family are doing this together and not leaving anyone out. We feel thats what causes problems with siblings.

I do not think you waited to long. My oldest will be 11 next week and my youngest will turn 6 on 11/26/08 (your due date!) and baby #3 is due November 2 of this year. I think it is easier when the other children are at school and they tend to not be as jealous they seem to like to help more and be the mommy! It's kinda weird I will have a child in middle school, kindergarten and a newborn in the fall!

... yea we are not sure yet but will see the doctor soon :-) We took the test 3 days ago and got a positive. I had a "feeling" I might have been pregnant. Same symptoms as my first two children. Funny thing is, if i don't get sick again, then I only got sick once with each of my children. I guess they only want me to take my vitamins and notice they are there!

I am 40 and VERY HAPPY and scared because of my age. I just want everything to be ok. We don't really have a preference as to a boy or girl just want the baby to be healthy. I can relate with the other mother who said she was 40 and tired. Seems like I am always tired! I really haven't had to much morning sickness this time which is wonderful. I went to my first ultrasound last week and all came back good. I am also going for furture testing because of my age to make sure everything is going well. To the other mother and any others that are my age on here, Are you taking all the tests or am I just being a worry wart??

***jgroover-I am also 40 years old and due on November 1st. I had my 1st ultrasound this morning-everything was good and they might move up my due date by a few days (that is always nice!) I have been very tired also. I have a two year old and an eight year old. I can tell my body is older-that's for sure. I am not sure if I will do the testing they suggest. If anything were to be wrong-I would just worry myself sick until the baby was born. I will have to decide before my next appointment I guess. It is hard to decide what to do. I wish you the best!
