I just fell out of love with the name we picked for a little girl. Of course, none of the names were set in stone, but our boy's name is just perfect (we both think so). However, throughout the whole pregnancy we've still thrown out various girl's names, and I just recently realised that I no longer like the way our original choice rolls off the tongue...
We had decided on Jacqueline Lorraine B____ (4 syllables in the last name). So, I went through another baby name website and read every name on the list, writing down ones I liked and showing them to my baby daddy. After a while, we decided that we would add a few of them to the list of possibles. That list now includes:
Kara (Care-Uh)
Lena (Lay-Nuh)
Kayley
Tanya
All would have the middle name Lorraine (it's a family name).
What do you think? Can you think of any reason these names would give our baby a hard time at school or past that? Which do you prefer?
