Hello everyone!!
Yesterday I tried to convince my miss-worry-a-lot sister that her home based business will catch on and take off and she tells me that I am "biased" and would not give her my honest opinion (and I thought she knew me so well :) )

So I came up with the wonderful idea of finding parents that are completely unbiased to ask... I know...Im a genius.

So here's the scoop:

She can hand make a harcover personalized children's book (Childs full name, friends names, teachers name, mom and dad, age etc.) in under an hour and mail it out. Instant Gratification. The age range for these books is between 0-9 or 10 which is a great age to encourage reading. Educational. I could go on and on about it and I almost feel like her representative when Im talking about this with my friends. Its not expensive, there is a bunch of books to choose from, etc etc

So what do you think? Would you buy one? Do you think that children would be excited to read a book with their name in it or do you think it wouldnt make a difference?

Thanks in advance for anyone that answers! By the way, if you want to look at the website (this is just shameless promotion) it's www.yourinthestory.com

I think it is a great idea. There are a lot of personalized books out there already, but they usually have only 2 or 3 details. The price is good. Just need to really put it out in the market. Maybe an add in a parenting magazine or two.
One thing. I noticed the wrong Your is used. It should be You're (You Are). I would be hesitant to buy a book from someone whose company is grammatically incorrect in their main title.

This is an interesting as I am currently researching how to create an online method for parents who feel undeserved by current children's book offerings, and could create their own unique book, or share what you have created with other parents.

If you are in fact interested in this concept please I would appreciate it if you could take a very short survey that will help me in my course work. It should take less than 5 minutes.
