my 9 month old will NOT sleep

my son is teething, so i understand that could cause some loss of sleep. but he not sleeping at all. maybe an hour here, an hour there and then he's right back up and at it. this just recently started. he was sleeping through the night and taking 3 naps a day. i just don't know what to do. i've tried EVERYTHING. leaving him in the bed, rubbing his back, everything. and it's not that he wants up to feed, because he doesn't eat every time he gets up. and he's been to the doctor and they tell me that it's something we have to just tough out. but i don't think so.... any suggestions?

My 8 month old is going through the same thing. His top teeth are coming through. I use adult ambesol on them, I put it on with a q-tip. It seems to work really well and he is sleeping fine. Good luck.

i give my son baby tylenol or night time oral gel and theres also a old remidy my mother inlaw tought me if u give them calamina tea in a bottle warm they go right to sleep works everytime hopr that helps

I'm going through the same thing my daughter right now she sleeps with me she has teeth coming in and a ear infection and now a rash from a alleric reaction to amoxicillin and well i give some baby tylenol and it works or like some one told me is that wrap him in a shirt or something of your with your scent it might work
