Ok so I don't have insurance for myself. Just my son, so I would really not like to pay for a doctor's visit if I can avoid it.

So I've been having pain in my lower abdomen. It comes and goes and varies in strength from a dull pain to a sharp stabbing pain. Sometimes intercourse hurts as well. I don't have any strange discharge {TMI sorry :) } Just a pain. Could this simply be a yeast infection? I've never had one before. And should I try something for it just to be sure?

Another side note that might help, we've been trying for 7 months to get pregnant with no luck. It took us one week to get prego with the first. I don't know if the 2 are connected. Anyways if anyone can shed some light so I can avoid going to the doc let me know!

Thank you!

It does not sound like a yeast infection. Usually, those cause a lot of white chunky discharge and itching, but I'm not a doctor, so I obviously can't rule anything out for you. The pain *could* be a pregnancy, but my advice, even though you don't have insurance is to go to the doctor and get it checked out. Are there any free clinics around you? I just wouldn't want to ignore a pain that had been going on for a while, just in case.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I haven't experience it before but i think your symptom definitely needs medical attention. You may wanna take a look at the explanation from Yeast Infection Secrets from http://www.mumsafari.com/for-parents. There is a long list of symptoms which you can view.

On the other hand, a typical healthy couple should take about 6 months to conceive. So you may not be considered infertile - yet. However, if this drag on for too long, consider the Pregnancy Miracle program at http://www.mumsafari.com/for-mum-to-be
